Added a Free CNC G Code File
Hi All,
Finally added a free CNC G&M code file to the site. Enjoy.
Hi All,
I just recently started my journey with getting set up and using Linux CNC. I recently downloaded and burned the ISO image of Linux CNC and Unbuntu to a CD. I had to go into my computer bios and hcange the drive that the computer looks to boot to first. Once that was set to the cd-rom I was good to go. I restarted my computer and Unbuntu started running. I then took that same CD and installed Ubuntu and Linux CNC to my older garage (CNC) PC. That went good, it took about an hour but I think my garage PC was at the bottom of the list as a usable machine. I just ordered a used computer on line that I will use. However it did eventually load and I was able to start up Linu CNC and get a system set up. I want to do some more testing with my new used computer before I totaly commit but so far so good.
Thanks,
Andy
I know that things are tough out there in the job market. However, things are going alot better in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The Albuquerque Police Department is now hiring. For more infomration visit www.relocate-nm.com.

Computer Numerical Control is the term used to describe machinery when it is being controlled via a computer. CNC language is made up of G & M codes that the computer and CNC software translates into servo or stepper motor movements.
